5. Do Not Track and opt-outs

•PostHog respects the browser Do Not Track header — enable it and analytics events stop firing.
•Content blockers (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, Brave Shields) effectively disable our analytics cookies. We support that, and the dashboard keeps working.
•Stripe's payment cookies cannot be disabled without breaking checkout — they're a fraud-prevention requirement on Stripe's end.

6. Retention

•Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser.
•Authentication: up to 7 days to keep you signed in across visits.
•Analytics: up to 1 year for long-term usage trends.
•Stripe: per Stripe's policy (typically up to 1 year for fraud prevention).
